National Recognition
We are proud to celebrate our Founder, Damaris Alvarado-Rodriguez, for being recognized as one of the “Essential Thought Leaders in Early Childhood in the USA” by ConsultClarity.
This national recognition highlights Damaris’ dedication to advocating for Latino families, bilingual educators, and grassroots child care providers whose voices are too often underrepresented in conversations surrounding early childhood education.
As CEO of Children’s Playhouse and Founder of LEJ, Damaris continues to champion culturally responsive education, workforce development, and equitable opportunities for children and families in our communities. Her work reflects LEJ’s mission to empower, educate, and uplift through advocacy, leadership, and collaboration.
We are honored to see her leadership and impact recognized on a national level.
